The following outline describes our research driven design process.  For every client we tailor a program to meet the needs of the project and the brand.  Snap Design is flexible in our approach, we build the team that can deliver the best result.

Information Gathering                    Context     

Collect demographic, ethnographic and usability data, analyze ergonomic and human factors issues. Develop order of operations and task analysis studies.  Conduct surveys, site visits and shop alongs.  Prepare reports.

Develop Strategy                             Storytelling

Meet with experts and brainstorm to define a direction or find a new opportunity for the client.

Concept Generation                        Thinking and Drawing 

Develop preliminary concepts.  Study ideas in sufficient detail to assess  materials and methods for manufacturing.

Design Development                       Refinement and Testing              

Consider all aspects of the design including form, function and material and test  with prototypes.

Documentation                                Implementation

Work with engineering, manufacturing and construction disciplines to bring the design to fruition.
